Organisation Sponsoring - Skilled Worker Temporary Options
Temporary Visa - Subclass 457
The most popular Temporary Employment Based Visa!
This is a program which is designed for companies to sponsor skilled workers to join their firm and work for a period of up to four years. The company can be either an Australian based or offshore organisation.
The process for obtaining this visa is a three stage process which covers:
- A business sponsorship
- A nomination application
- A personal visa application
The business sponsorship application is the process where the Department of Immigration assess a company's ability to support an overseas national for their stay in Australia. As part of this process, Immigration assesses a company's financials, training records, immigration compliance as well as attesting that the company has a strong record of employing local labour as well as not participating in non-discriminatory employment practices
The nomination is where the offer of employment to the overseas national is analysed. The position on offer must be on the list of gazette occupations which are eligible to apply for this visa. Evidence to confirm that the overseas national is to be remunerated at a market rate level must also be provided as part of this application.
Finally, the visa application is assessed. The Department of Immigration ensures that the visa applicant has the skills and qualifications to fill the nominated role and is also of good health and character.
Our office would be more than happy to assist with assessing eligibility for both the company and the individual. This is a quick FREE no obligation assessment which is completed by our experienced staff. Contact details are available on the Contact Us section of this website.
